Riley is currently enrolled in the 5 year combined BS & MS program
at Tufts University. He studied abroad at Hong Kong University in the
spring of his junior year and has taken a variety of Philosophy classes
on top of his engineering coursework.
Reserach Interests
Riley's research interests are primarily in Biomimetics with
applications in Fluid Mechanics. His research at Tufts began in the
Summer Scholars program where he analyzed and replicated the underwater
locomotion of the Sea Salp. His current research looks to use passive
flow control phenomena found in bird flight for applications in airfoil
design.
