LabVIEW Education Edition (LVEE) is a partnership between the Tufts CEEO and National Instruments (Texas, USA) in extending the LabVIEW development environment for use with a greater number of third party devices (specifically, the LEGO NXT Intelligent Brick) and accessible for new users ranging from middle-school through college age range.

The Center has leveraged its considerable experience with the NXT as an educational platform to guide the development of the new "NXT Module 2009", the main component of LVEE. The NXT Module abstracts the technical details of programming while promoting accessibility and facilitating the rapid prototyping of intelligent LEGO Robots.
