Doctoral Student in Computer Science
Eric received a B.S. in Management Science and Information Systems from The Pennsylvania State University in 2002. After that, Eric spent 9 years as a professional software engineer and web developer. His background spans a wide range of industries from global corporations to world class universities. He spent 3 years at Abbott Laboratories in Columbus, Ohio working on building inventory management tools. His next five years were spent in Cleveland; first working at the professional services firm Ernst & Young as a software developer and then at Case Western Reserve University as the libraries development team leader. Lastly, he spent a year at Boston University's medical campus upgrading their medical school admissions software. In 2010, Eric earned an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University. He joined the Tufts community in 2011 and will begin work with the CEEO in 2012. His current research focuses on Interactive Learning and Collaboration Environment Tools. He currently lives in the Davis Square area of Somerville with his wife and infant son Dylan. Education
